Fellowship
By the Numbers
The Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography (AEMUS) Fellowship program at the University of Florida College of Medicine- Jacksonville is a 1-year EUFAC accredited fellowship program in a high-volume, inner-city emergency department with the only Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center in the region. Boasting the top-rated emergency medicine training program in Florida by Doximity (2020), the University of Florida Department of Emergency Medicine was founded in 1975 and sees over 120,000 patient visits per year between our busy metropolitan academic health center and our community hospital sites. With an impressive array of pathology and academic opportunities, we provide a diverse educational experience with emphasis on clinical hands-on practice, teaching at the local and national level and experience with program development, management, and research.
